It was the first day of summer, and the sun was shining brightly in the sky. The air was warm and the birds were singing in the trees. It was the perfect day for a walk in the park.
Alice had been looking forward to this day for weeks. She had been planning to spend the day alone, exploring the park and enjoying the sunshine. She had no idea that her plans were about to be changed.
As Alice walked through the park, she noticed a young man sitting on a bench. He was handsome, with dark hair and deep blue eyes. He was looking out at the lake, seemingly lost in thought.
Alice couldn't help but be drawn to him. She walked over to the bench and sat down beside him. He looked up and smiled at her in surprise.
"Hi," he said. "I'm Jack."
Alice smiled back. "I'm Alice," she said.
The two of them talked for hours, about everything and nothing. They shared stories of their lives and dreams for the future. As the sun began to set, Alice realized that she had completely forgotten about her plans for the day.
She had unexpectedly found love in the park that day. She knew that she would never forget this summer.
