Chapter 3: The Last Survivor
The sun had just begun to set over the city of Kano, Nigeria. The sky was a deep orange, and the air was still and quiet. It was the perfect evening for a stroll, and so the last survivor of Kano decided to take a walk.
The survivor had been living in Kano for many years, and had seen the city go through many changes. He had seen the city grow and thrive, and he had seen it fall into disrepair. He had seen the people of Kano come together to help each other, and he had seen them turn against each other. He had seen the city become a place of violence and despair, and he had seen it become a place of hope and possibility.
As the survivor walked through the streets of Kano, he was filled with a sense of sadness. He was the only one left in the city, and he felt a deep loneliness. He had lost so much, and he was the only one who remembered what Kano had once been.
The survivor stopped at a small park in the center of the city. He sat down on a bench and looked out at the city. He could see the buildings that had once been bustling with life, now empty and silent. He could see the streets that had once been filled with people, now deserted. He could feel the sadness of the city, and he knew that Kano would never be the same again.
The survivor looked up at the sky, and he saw the stars beginning to appear. He knew that even though Kano was gone, the stars would still be there, and they would always be a reminder of what had once been. He closed his eyes and said a silent prayer for the city of Kano, and for the people who had once called it home.
The survivor got up from the bench and slowly made his way back home. He knew that he was the last survivor of Kano, and he was determined to keep the memory of the city alive. He would never forget what Kano had once been, and he would never forget the people who had once lived there.
