The Oracle of Oyo had been true to her word. She had given the villagers the answers they needed to save their village from destruction. Now it was time for her to receive her reward.
The villagers gathered around the Oracle, eager to hear what she had to say. The Oracle smiled and said, "My reward is simple. I ask for nothing more than your gratitude and your friendship. I have been watching over this village for many years, and I have seen the good that you have done. I am proud to call you my friends."
The villagers were overjoyed. They thanked the Oracle and promised to always remember her kindness.
The Oracle smiled and said, "As a sign of my gratitude, I will grant you one wish. Anything you desire, I will make it happen."
The villagers were amazed. They discussed amongst themselves and finally decided on their wish. They asked the Oracle to make sure that their village would always be safe and prosperous.
The Oracle smiled and said, "Your wish is granted. From this day forward, your village will always be safe and prosperous. You have my word."
The villagers cheered and thanked the Oracle for her generosity. They celebrated long into the night, grateful for the Oracle's help and for the future of their village.
The Oracle watched them with a smile, happy that she had been able to help. She knew that her reward was not just the gratitude of the villagers, but the knowledge that she had done something good for the world.
