The group had finally reached the entrance to the dragon's lair. They had been walking for days and were exhausted, but their excitement was palpable. As they stepped through the entrance, they were greeted by a large chamber filled with gold and jewels. In the center of the room was a large dragon, its eyes glowing with a menacing fire.
The dragon roared and the group froze in fear. The dragon was huge and its scales were a deep red. It was clear that the dragon was not happy to see them.
The group quickly formed a plan. They would use their weapons to distract the dragon while one of them snuck around and grabbed the treasure. They all agreed that it was the only way to get the treasure and escape alive.
The group split up and began their attack. The dragon was powerful and it took all of their strength to keep it distracted. Finally, one of the group members managed to sneak around and grab the treasure.
The dragon was enraged and it flew into a rage, attacking the group with its fire breath. The group fought bravely, but it was clear that they were no match for the dragon. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, the group heard a loud roar from outside the cave.
The group looked out and saw a large white dragon flying towards them. The white dragon was the lost dragon's mate and it had come to help them. The white dragon and the red dragon fought fiercely, and eventually the white dragon emerged victorious.
The group was relieved and quickly grabbed the treasure and ran out of the cave. They had succeeded in their quest and were now richer than they had ever been. They celebrated their victory and the lost dragon's mate flew off into the night, never to be seen again.
