It was at this time that a prophecy was made: a great leader would be born and he would bring a new era of prosperity to the kingdom. This prophecy was fulfilled when a son was born to the king’s widow, Sogolon. The child was named Sundiata and he was destined to become the greatest king of Mali.

Sundiata was born with a physical disability, which made it difficult for him to walk. Despite this, he was determined to prove himself and become a great leader. He was trained in the art of warfare and diplomacy, and soon became a skilled warrior.

Sundiata was also a wise leader and a great diplomat. He was able to bring peace to the kingdom and unite the various tribes and clans that lived in Mali. He also established trade routes with other kingdoms, which made Mali a powerful and wealthy nation.

Sundiata’s reign was marked by peace and prosperity. He was a beloved leader who was respected by all. He was known as the Lion King, and his reign is remembered as the golden age of Mali.
