It was a typical day in 238BC. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and the people of the small village of Delphi were going about their daily lives.

But something was amiss.

The village elders had noticed that time seemed to be passing strangely. The days seemed to be going by faster than usual, and the nights seemed to be shorter.

The elders were perplexed. They had no explanation for this strange phenomenon.

Then, one day, a young boy named Kratos stumbled upon the answer.

Kratos had been exploring the nearby woods when he noticed something strange. He saw a figure moving quickly through the trees, as if it were trying to avoid being seen.

Kratos followed the figure and eventually discovered that it was a man dressed in a strange robe. The man was carrying a large sack, and he seemed to be stealing time from the village.

Kratos watched in amazement as the man filled his sack with time and then disappeared into the woods.

Kratos quickly ran back to the village and told the elders what he had seen. The elders were shocked, but they knew that they had to do something.

They quickly gathered a group of brave warriors and set off into the woods to find the mysterious time thief.

The warriors searched for days, but they could not find the thief. Eventually, they stumbled upon a strange cave in the side of a mountain.

Inside the cave, they found the time thief. He was asleep, surrounded by the stolen time.

The warriors quickly apprehended the thief and brought him back to the village.

The thief was brought before the elders, who questioned him about his crime. The thief confessed that he had been stealing time from the village in order to extend his own life.

The elders were outraged and sentenced the thief to death.

But before they could carry out the sentence, the thief made a strange request. He asked that the stolen time be returned to the village.

The elders were surprised, but they agreed. The thief was taken away and the stolen time was returned to the village.

From that day forward, the people of Delphi were able to enjoy a normal life, with days and nights passing at a normal rate.

The people of Delphi never forgot the mysterious time thief, and to this day, his story is still told around the village fires.
