The Time-Traveller had been in Ancient Lagos for a few months now and he had seen and experienced a lot. He had seen the bustling markets, the grand palaces and the beautiful beaches. He had also seen the poverty and the suffering of the people. He had been welcomed by the people of Lagos and he had made many friends.
But now it was time for him to leave. He had to go back to his own time and place. He had to go back to the future.
The Time-Traveller said his goodbyes to his friends and thanked them for their hospitality. He was sad to leave but he was also excited to go back to his own time. He said his last goodbye and then he stepped into the time machine.
The time machine whirred and hummed as it prepared to take the Time-Traveller back to his own time. He looked out of the window and saw the ancient city of Lagos one last time. He waved goodbye and then the time machine took off.
The Time-Traveller was gone. He had gone back to his own time and place. But he would never forget the people of Ancient Lagos and the wonderful time he had spent there. He would always remember the kindness and hospitality of the people of Lagos.
The Time-Traveller had gone, but the people of Ancient Lagos would never forget him. He had left a lasting impression on them and they would always remember the Time-Traveller of 1797AD.
