The gods of Kampala and Ile-Ife had been at war for centuries, and the time-travellers had been sent to try and end it. They had been given the task of finding a way to bring peace between the two cities.
The time-travellers had been working hard to find a way to bring peace, but so far they had been unsuccessful. They had tried talking to the gods, but they had been met with hostility and violence. They had also tried to use their own powers to try and influence the gods, but this had also been unsuccessful.
Finally, the time-travellers decided that the only way to end the war was to fight the gods themselves. They gathered their forces and prepared for battle.
The battle was fierce and lasted for days. The gods fought with all their might, but the time-travellers were able to hold their own. Finally, after a long and bloody battle, the time-travellers emerged victorious.
The gods of Kampala and Ile-Ife were defeated, and peace was restored to the two cities. The time-travellers had succeeded in their mission, and they were celebrated as heroes.
The time-travellers returned to their own time, but the peace they had brought to Kampala and Ile-Ife would last for centuries. The two cities would remain at peace for many years, and the time-travellers would be remembered as the heroes who brought peace to the two cities.
