Part 6: Meeting the King and Learning About the Oyo Empire: 1961AD "The Time-Travelling Adventures of Olayinka, James, and Ifeoluwa in Ancient Zimbabwe and Oyo: 1961AD"

Olayinka, James, and Ifeoluwa had been travelling for days and were finally nearing the Oyo Empire. As they approached the city, they were amazed by the grandeur of the palace. The walls were made of mud and the roofs were covered in thatch. The city was bustling with activity, and the three of them were greeted by a group of people who welcomed them to the city.

The group led them to the palace, where they were presented to the king. The king was a tall, imposing figure, dressed in fine robes and wearing a crown of gold. He welcomed the three of them and asked them to tell him about their journey. Olayinka, James, and Ifeoluwa told the king about their travels and the places they had seen.

The king was impressed by their stories and asked them to stay in the palace for a few days. During their stay, the king taught them about the Oyo Empire. He explained that the Oyo Empire was a powerful kingdom that had been in existence for centuries. The king also told them about the different cultures and religions that were practiced in the empire.

The three of them were fascinated by the king's stories and were eager to learn more. The king was pleased with their enthusiasm and offered to show them around the city. He took them to the market, where they saw all kinds of goods being sold. They also visited the palace gardens, where they saw beautiful plants and flowers.

At the end of their visit, the king thanked them for their visit and gave them a gift of gold coins. He wished them luck on their journey and told them to come back and visit anytime. Olayinka, James, and Ifeoluwa thanked the king for his hospitality and left the palace, feeling inspired by the stories they had heard.
