The three friends had been walking for what felt like hours, but they were still no closer to finding their way out of the forest. They were exhausted and frustrated, and Amelia was beginning to feel hopeless.
Suddenly, Amelia stopped in her tracks and looked around. She had a strange feeling that something was about to happen. She glanced at Olayinka and Ifeoluwa, who both looked just as confused as she did.
"What is it?" Olayinka asked.
Amelia didn't answer. Instead, she slowly walked over to a nearby tree and placed her hand on its trunk. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
When she opened her eyes again, she had a look of revelation on her face.
"I know how to get out of here," she said.
Olayinka and Ifeoluwa looked at her in shock.
"What do you mean?" Olayinka asked.
Amelia smiled. "I can feel it," she said. "This tree is a gateway. If we follow it, it will lead us out of the forest."
Olayinka and Ifeoluwa looked at each other in disbelief. But Amelia seemed so certain that they decided to trust her.
They followed the tree for what felt like hours, until finally, they emerged from the forest. They were back in the city, and the sun was setting.
Amelia smiled. She had done it. She had found the way out.
The three friends hugged each other in relief. They had made it. They had survived the Unfathomable Journey.
