The sun was setting on the horizon as the witch and the dragon prepared for battle. The witch had prepared her spells and the dragon had sharpened his claws. They both knew that this was a fight to the death.
The witch began the battle by casting a powerful spell that sent a wave of energy towards the dragon. The dragon roared in response and flew towards the witch, breathing fire. The witch quickly countered with a spell of her own, creating a shield of protection around her.
The dragon flew around the witch, trying to find a way to break through her shield. The witch countered each of the dragon's attacks with her own spells. The battle raged on for what seemed like hours, neither side giving an inch.
Finally, the witch managed to break through the dragon's defenses and land a powerful spell directly on the dragon's heart. The dragon roared in pain and fell to the ground, defeated.
The witch had won the battle and broken the dragon's curse. She had saved the kingdom and freed the people from the dragon's tyranny.
The witch walked up to the dragon and looked into his eyes. She could see the pain and suffering in his eyes, and she knew that she had done the right thing. She placed her hand on the dragon's heart and whispered a spell of healing.
The dragon slowly opened his eyes and looked up at the witch. He thanked her for freeing him from the curse and for giving him a second chance at life.
The witch smiled and said, “You are free now. Go and live your life as you choose.”
The dragon nodded and flew away, leaving the witch alone in the forest. She watched as the dragon disappeared into the horizon, and she knew that she had done the right thing.
