Part 2: The Witch of the Niger Delta: Meeting the Witch The Witch of the Niger Delta: A Tale of Time Travel in 1478AD

The sun was setting over the Niger Delta, casting a golden light over the lush landscape. The air was thick with the smell of the river and the sound of the birds chirping in the trees.

I had been walking for hours, and I was beginning to tire. I had been searching for the Witch of the Niger Delta, and I was determined to find her.

Suddenly, I heard a voice calling out to me from the shadows. I stopped and looked around, but I couldn't see anyone. I was about to turn and continue my search when I heard the voice again.

"Come closer," it said.

I cautiously stepped forward, and as I did, I saw a figure emerge from the shadows. It was an old woman, her skin wrinkled and her hair gray. She was dressed in a long, flowing robe, and she had a staff in her hand.

"You are looking for the Witch of the Niger Delta," she said.

I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest.

"I am the Witch," she said. "What is it you seek?"

I told her my story, of how I had come to the Niger Delta in search of a way to travel through time. I explained that I wanted to go back to 1478AD, to the time when the great city of Timbuktu was still standing.

The Witch listened intently, her eyes never leaving my face. When I had finished, she smiled.

"I can help you," she said. "But it will not be easy. You must be willing to face danger and uncertainty. Are you ready?"

I nodded, and the Witch began to tell me what I must do. She told me of a powerful spell that would allow me to travel through time, and she gave me instructions on how to cast it.

"You must be careful," she warned. "Time travel is a dangerous thing, and you must be prepared for anything. Are you sure you are ready?"

I nodded again, and the Witch smiled.

"Then go," she said. "And may the gods be with you."

With that, she disappeared into the shadows, leaving me alone in the Niger Delta. I took a deep breath and began to prepare for my journey. I was about to embark on a journey through time, and I knew that nothing would ever be the same again.
