The Battle for Control of the Lost Colony

The year is 1983AD and the Lost Colony of Mars is in the midst of a civil war. On one side is the United Nations, led by the United States, and on the other is the Martian Revolutionary Front, a group of Martian rebels determined to take control of the colony and establish a new government.

The United Nations had been in control of the colony since its founding in 2023, but the MRF had been growing in strength and influence since its formation in 2040. The MRF had been able to gain a foothold in the colony by appealing to the disenfranchised Martian citizens who felt neglected and ignored by the United Nations.

The United Nations had been unable to quell the growing unrest in the colony and had been forced to send in troops to maintain order. This had only served to further inflame the situation and the MRF had been able to gain more support from the Martian citizens.

The MRF had declared war on the United Nations in 2083 and had been able to gain control of much of the colony. The United Nations had been forced to retreat to the city of New York, where they had set up a defensive perimeter.

The MRF had been able to gain control of the rest of the colony, except for a few pockets of resistance. The United Nations had been unable to break through the MRF's defenses and had been forced to rely on air strikes and artillery bombardments to try and break the stalemate.

The situation had become increasingly desperate for both sides and it seemed that the battle would never end. That is, until the United Nations had a stroke of luck.

In 2083, a group of scientists had discovered a way to travel through time. The United Nations had immediately seized upon this discovery and had sent a team of soldiers back to 1983AD.

The team had been able to gain control of the colony and had quickly driven out the MRF. The United Nations had been able to reestablish control of the Lost Colony and had been able to prevent the MRF from ever gaining control.

The Battle for Control of the Lost Colony had been won by the United Nations and the colony had been saved. The United Nations had been able to maintain control of the colony and had been able to prevent the MRF from ever gaining control. The Lost Colony of Mars had been saved and the United Nations had been able to maintain control.
