The sun was setting over the horizon of Mars, casting a deep red hue over the landscape. The sky was a deep, dark blue, and the stars were beginning to twinkle in the night sky.
As the sun set, the last human on Mars, John, was walking through the desolate landscape. He had been searching for signs of life on the planet for months, but had found nothing. He had almost given up hope when he saw something in the distance.
John ran towards the object, and as he got closer, he realized it was a living creature. It was a small, furry creature with four legs and two antennae. John had never seen anything like it before.
He cautiously approached the creature and noticed that it was not scared of him. He reached out his hand and the creature allowed him to pet it. John was amazed. He had discovered life on Mars!
John quickly ran back to his base and told his colleagues about his discovery. They were all amazed and excited. They had all been searching for life on Mars for years, and now they had finally found it.
John and his colleagues studied the creature and discovered that it was a type of insect. They named it the Martian Beetle.
