James and Ibrahim had been preparing for their time-traveling journey for weeks. They had read up on the history of the time period they were about to visit, 269AD, and had packed all the supplies they would need for their journey.
The two friends had decided to travel together, as they had done many times before. They had a plan to travel to the city of Baghdad, which was the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate in 269AD.
The two friends set off on their journey, and after a few days of travel, they arrived in Baghdad. The city was bustling with activity, and the two friends were amazed by the sights and sounds of the city.
They explored the city and visited some of the famous landmarks, such as the Great Mosque of al-Kadhimiyya and the palace of the caliph. They also visited some of the markets and bazaars, where they were able to purchase some supplies for their journey.
After a few days of exploring the city, James and Ibrahim decided it was time to continue their journey. They set off on their way, and after a few days of travel, they arrived at their destination: the city of al-Kufah.
Al-Kufah was a city in the heart of the Abbasid Caliphate, and it was here that James and Ibrahim would meet up with their friends Tijjani and Zainab. The two friends were excited to finally meet up with their friends, and they were looking forward to the adventure that awaited them in 269AD.
