The Time-Travelling Trio, James, Ibrahim, Tijjani, and Zainab, had arrived in the ancient city of Carthage in the year 269AD. The city was bustling with people and activity. Everywhere they looked, there were markets, temples, and homes.
The four of them decided to explore the city and learn more about its history. They started by visiting the Temple of Eshmun, the god of healing. The temple was a large, impressive structure made of white marble. Inside, they found a statue of the god and offerings of food and flowers.
Next, they visited the market. Here, they saw merchants selling everything from spices and fabrics to jewelry and pottery. They also saw people trading goods and services.
Afterwards, they visited the city walls. These walls were built to protect the city from invaders. They were made of stone and stood over twenty feet tall.
Finally, they visited the harbor. Here, they saw ships coming and going, carrying goods from all over the Mediterranean.
The Time-Travelling Trio had a wonderful time exploring the ancient city of Carthage. They learned a lot about the city and its people. They also had a great time experiencing a different time and place.
