Part 5: The End of the War: 1945AD "Time's End: 1945AD"

The war had been raging for years, and the people of the world had grown weary of the destruction and death. But finally, in 1945AD, the end of the war was in sight.

The Allies had been pushing back the Axis forces, and by the summer of 1945AD, the Axis had been pushed back to their last stronghold in Berlin. On April 30th, Adolf Hitler committed suicide in his bunker, and the German forces surrendered on May 7th.

The Allies celebrated their victory, and the world rejoiced in the end of the war. But the war had taken its toll on the people of the world. Millions had died, and millions more had been displaced.

The Allies gathered in Paris to sign the Treaty of Versailles, officially ending the war. The treaty was signed on June 28th, 1945AD, and with it, the world was finally at peace.

The world had changed drastically in the years since the war began. But now, the people of the world could finally look forward to a brighter future. The end of the war had brought hope and a new beginning.
