Part 4: The Journey to Delphi (858 BC) The Oracle of Delphi: A Tale of Ancient Time

The journey to Delphi was a long and arduous one. The small group of travelers had to traverse the rugged terrain of the Greek countryside, and the journey was made even more difficult by the fact that they had to carry all of their supplies with them.

The group was made up of two men, a woman, and a young boy. The two men were named Eurystheus and Heracles, and the woman was named Alcmene. The young boy was named Iolaus, and he was the son of Heracles.

The group had been traveling for days, and they were all exhausted. They had been walking for hours on end, and the sun was beginning to set. As the sun set, the group decided to make camp for the night.

The next morning, the group awoke to the sound of birds chirping in the trees. They packed up their supplies and continued on their journey.

The group traveled for days, and eventually, they reached the base of Mount Parnassus. As they began to climb the mountain, they could see the city of Delphi in the distance.

The group arrived in Delphi and were greeted by the Oracle of Delphi. The Oracle welcomed them and told them that she had been expecting them. She told them that she had a special task for them.

The Oracle told them that they must travel to the Temple of Apollo and retrieve the sacred Oracle stone. She said that this stone was the key to unlocking the secrets of the gods.
