The news of the betrayal spread like wildfire throughout the kingdom. People were outraged that their beloved prince had been so easily swayed by the enemy. The king was devastated, and he was determined to make the traitor pay for his crime.
He ordered his soldiers to search the kingdom for the traitor and bring him to justice. The search was long and arduous, but eventually the traitor was found and brought before the king.
The king was furious. He sentenced the traitor to death for his crime, and ordered that he be executed immediately. The traitor was taken away and executed, and the kingdom was left to mourn the loss of their beloved prince.
The people of the kingdom were in shock. They had trusted their prince, and now he was gone. They felt betrayed and angry, and they wanted justice.
The king was determined to make sure that justice was served. He ordered that the traitor's family be stripped of their titles and wealth, and that they be banished from the kingdom. He also ordered that anyone who had aided the traitor in his crime be punished as well.
