The next morning, the sun shone brightly as the two friends set out on their journey. They had decided to search for answers in the nearby town of Oakdale.
The town was bustling with activity as they made their way through the streets. Everywhere they looked, people were talking and laughing, and the smell of freshly baked bread filled the air.
They stopped at a small café for a bite to eat, and while they were there, they asked the locals if they had heard anything about the mysterious disappearance of the princess. Most of the people they spoke to had no idea what they were talking about, but one old man told them a story.
He said that a few weeks ago, a group of strangers had come to town and asked around about the princess. They had been looking for her, but no one knew where she was. The old man said that the strangers had been asking a lot of questions, and he had a feeling that they were up to no good.
The two friends thanked the old man for his story and continued on their way. As they walked, they discussed what they had heard. They were both convinced that the princess had been kidnapped, but they had no idea who had taken her or why.
They decided to keep searching for answers and eventually made their way to the castle. When they arrived, they were surprised to find that the castle was in disarray. It seemed as though someone had been searching for something, but they couldn't tell what.
The two friends searched the castle for clues, but they found nothing. They were about to give up when they heard a noise coming from one of the rooms. They cautiously opened the door and were shocked to find the princess inside!
She was tied up and gagged, but she was alive. The two friends quickly untied her and asked her what had happened.
The princess told them that she had been kidnapped by a group of men who had been looking for something in the castle. She had managed to escape, but she had no idea what the men were looking for.
The two friends thanked the princess for her story and promised to help her get back to her kingdom. They set off on their journey, determined to find the answers they were looking for.
