The next morning, John was up early. He had a plan. He was going to confront his brother and get to the bottom of this betrayal. He drove to his brother's house and knocked on the door. When his brother answered, John could see the guilt in his eyes.
John wasted no time. He asked his brother why he had betrayed him. His brother tried to explain, but John was having none of it. He told his brother that he had been a fool to trust him and that he was done with him.
John's brother was taken aback. He had never seen John this angry before. He tried to apologize, but John refused to listen. He told his brother that he was done with him and that he never wanted to see him again.
John's brother was devastated. He had never expected John to react this way. He begged John to forgive him, but John refused. He told his brother that he had broken his trust and that he could never forgive him.
John left his brother's house feeling angry and betrayed. He had never expected his brother to do something like this. He had trusted him and now he was paying the price for that trust. He had been betrayed and he was never going to forget it.
